The Daily Adoptee

 

Living in this world as an adoptee is a labyrinth of ambiguity in all manner of speaking. Who are you? Who are you loyal to? Who should you be loyal to? What defines YOU. Do I need to know my blood to know ME? Apply any of these questions to any topic and the gray appears.

And honestly, it’s OK. It’s like a beautiful watercolor painting. There are parts of the journey of an adoptee that is a stark white with joy. There are other parts that are filled with mixed emotions, wayward feelings, roadblocks, and dark feelings.

The Daily Adoptee is a space where experiences intersect and life is examined and enjoyed.
