Sibling Love

Photographing young sibling love is always great. From the ages 0 to 12 they have this affection for each other that can range from cutesy to 'oh gosh, I really don't want to give my sister a kiss on the cheek'; which is cutesy in its own way.

But there is something truly special about photographing siblings in their teen years and on. Their bond has grown from that cutesy stage to genuine affection meshed in sibling rivalries and most importantly sibling love.  This is what made photographing the Berman siblings a joy. I had T minus 30 minutes until kick off time (They love the Packers). Those minutes were filled with sibling jokes, shared disgust of dog poo, and an older brother insisting we take a photo with his little brother on his back.  Which honestly is my favorite image of the whole session!
